Well it has
been a wonderful week and we have thoroughly enjoyed both our guests and our
week of education. We are smarter today then we were a week ago. The AGLCA has
award ceremonies for various things. Stuart and Liz won a 2 year membership
renewal for being the very last people who registered for the Rendezvous. I
guess it pays to be a procrastinator!
After the
dinner and the ceremony they have a talent night where people can come and sing
and play instruments. I was quite thrilled to see that along with the usual
guitar we had a mandolin, several dulcimers and some harps. It was awfully
nice, although the music was a bit slower than our normal musical beats it was
very nice. There is a lot of talent in this organization!
The end of
the week is bitter sweet and It is sad to say goodbye to Liz and Stuart; but
hopefully we can talk them into meeting us somewhere else along this trip. Bahamas
is filling up fast though.
