lots of little things

Well we are down to 31 days until cast off and we are trying to tie up all the loose ends. Today I was down in the bilge giving it a good scrub down making sure there was no oil or diesel down in there (what a dirty job) but it looks a lot better now.
I also flushed out the water tanks of the winter anti freeze and filled them up.
Also spent some time in the forward head sanding the cupboards getting it ready to paint.
Yesterday I got the fly bridge pretty well squared away. The GPS is wired up, the new stereo is hooked up and working great, the VHF radio is wired and working and there is now a 110 V outlet for the laptop up there.
So all in all things are getting done.

tick tock tick tock

Days are going by fast for our departure on our adventure around the great loop. Lots of little things left to do but we will be ready.
The countdown is 33 days to launch.

first blog ever

Today we set up our blog site so we can keep everyone informed of our new adventure starting in just 54 days 8 hours and 12 minutes (but who's counting).
It's been a long process to get the boat ready but we are almost there and it's looking great.
