Not much to report tonight. We spent another day at the city docks but it rained all day. On the
plus side, I think Jim finally figured out where the rain was coming into the
boat! We have had this funny little leak sometimes when it rains. We have
covered the upper deck in a rubberised compound with no effect, we have gotten
a new full enclosure with no effect and Jim has caulked every inch of the
outside trim with no effect. Tonight as he was going through his list yet
again, it dawned on him that perhaps the water was following the wood trim and
the wind drove it up behind the trim. As the sunlight left us and twilight came, the lighting was just right to
confirm his suspicions. So tomorrow's project is to find a Rona or Home Depot
and by some diversion trim to tack all along that edge and wait for the next
rain.
We did a few chores again today and then planned a lovely
dinner with Jeff and Susan followed by a game of cards. We switched things up
tonight, with the girls against the guys and as luck would have it, the girls
won. We had to go for another corny picture because, well there was nothing
else to post today.
Well nothing other than Jeff's beautiful Owl socks!
