Leaving new friends, meeting old friends 28◦04'.048N 80◦34'.280W

We are now in Melbourne Beach Florida. Having done a short run of about 6hrs. We woke to another glorious sunrise but it was a bit of a rainy day today. This particular picture reminds me of a time, when Stéphanie, our youngest was wanting to paint her room. Steph has an incredible eye for colour and she has most definite ideas about what she likes and dislikes. We were driving down the road one day, with a sky very similar to this one, with multiple shades of blues, purples and reds. She pointed to the clouds and said "Mom I want to paint my room that blue, Not the pale blue at the top, but the middle blue. Do you see it" Sure I said, not sure which of the shades she was pointing at, but certain that once we got to the paint store, she would pick out just the right one.

As we turned into the anchorage, we waved goodbye to Cathy and Duncan, our travel partners for the last 3 days and waved hello to our old friends Jeff and Sue.

We had the pleasure of some company for an hour or so as well. Two dolphins came to join us on our jaunt up river to play in our bow. I took a video, but alas I am technologically challenged and can't figure out how to download it from my camera to  the  computer. Probably better anyways since it will likely eat up all our data.  Jim did get a picture through, so at least I can show you that!

We quickly did our chores, engine checks and dinner prep and then went over to Jeff and Sue's boat for a chat. After the rain stopped, we went into town to pick up a few provisions. We were out of fresh produce...again. Jeff and Sue then joined us for pot luck dinner and then an evening of cards. A wonderful time was had by all. Well at least I think so. Tomorrow we will head into Canavral and check out the town. Should be interesting. Good night all.
